Every Webmaster or site owner would like to link with quality site so that they can take benefit of linking. So first of all develop a reason on your side, make yourself clear so that other site owners like to link with your site.
One should pay attention to the quality links although site owners don’t. It doesn’t matter they are small in quantity; your links content have to be relevant with your keywords for significant Page Rank Boost. If quantity is such an important factor then every related or not related site inter-linked them selves and collects thousand of links.

- The site is not redirecting to other site or not a Mirror site.
- The resource page is crawled by search engine and if the resource page have PR it will be best for our site.
- The site has quality content with resource page. By resource page I can take assurance that a particular site believes in linking and my efforts for making a link with that site is not a waste.
- Notice: - Sometimes what I have noticed that site owner don’t have knowledge of link building if they reply of your email and ask about the link building, so you should make him understand about the benefits of link building.
- Check the link value.
- The page is not full of Advertisement. The resource page should contain good neighborhood.
This is long and best procedure but Company owners who are providing SEO services don’t take this seriously they take Quantity of links not Quality of links. Following Quality links is only a bookish language. This is because Quantity is first preference in business not a quality

- Avoid submitting in Links forms, FFA (Free for All), these sites contain off topic sites ex Porn sites, Gambling etc. and often misuse your email address. FFA sites are interconnected with each other. Submitting your site in FFA you will become a part of there ring and bad neighborhood.
- You should stay away from ROS (run-of-site) links. These links are used by advertising sites. ROS links are used for boosting Page Rank but they are considered as disobey of search engine guidelines. These links are placed at the footer of website pointing to a specific page.
- Avoid three way linking or triangular linking because Google can detect such arrangement of links and avoid Page Rank Passing.
