2.    I preferred React OS Live CD so that I can check the actual screenshot and functionality of OS.
3.    Downloaded ReactOS-0.3.8-REL-live Image of 31.6 MB in thirty minutes from the location as above listed in Point 1.
4.    The image was in Zipped or Archive  format
5.    After unzipping Image I received 114MB ReactOS-Live CD Image In ISO Format
6.    I burned the Image with the help of software. It takes few minutes and Live CD Was Prepared
7.    I Changed the Bios Settings to Boot from CD ROM First so that I can Check New OS
8.    System Restarted and I watched ReactOS boot screen; after two blink it get stable on blank Screen and Pointer was blinking left most corner I waited for some time and after I ejected the CD
9.    Restarted the computer
10.    I thought It might happen that CD has not been burned properly so I prefer to burn another CD
11.    But the situation was Same as previous
12.    I assumed that it might happen that my hardware is not supporting so I prefer to check the Live Disk on my Friend System but the result was same
13.    I downloaded from Another Location: - http://sourceforge. net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=6553&package_id=6629&release_id=658332 and decided to install in on my system as I crazy to see the functioning.
14.    Before I proceed in the article I want to reveal my system configuration I have Pentium 4 Processor with 2.4 GHz , RAM 512 MB, Hard Disk 40 GB
15.    I downloaded image and burned it in CD, it takes 40.2 MB of space in CD.
16.    Before installation I Formatted my HD with FAT 32 file system
17.    Inserted ReactOS 0.3.8 setup CD after changing the BOIS Setting
18.    As Desired Setup Booted form CD, It loaded some files in 2 seconds, Setup ask me to Choose Language.
19.    There were many languages for support. I preferred US English and Press Enter to Continue.
20.    After few initial steps, as taken in Window, Setup ask me format. And I press Enter
21.    Process started and setup started installing files on the system. About 56% of installation complete successfully but after that setup simultaneously stopped.. The filename called Shell 32.ini hanged my system.
22.    After waiting for a while I restarted the system to restart the setup.
23.    Again Setup started and it takes 3 to 4 minutes to complete.
24.    Setup asks to load boot loader on MBR. Other options were also available like to install boot loader on floppy disk. But I prefer to install it on the MBR and Remove bootable Media
25.    But I feel upset to see only Black screen. I don’t know what is problem, So I restarted the system.
26.    React OS Show me Several Options Like
ReactOS
ReactOS (Debug)
ReactOS (Ros DBG)
ReactOS (Winldr)
ReactOS ( RAM Disk)
For trouble Shooting I press F8 as Shortcut Key
27.    I prefer ReactOS (Debug) process started with Enter after few loading File, its shows me problem as was in Live CD or Same as Point 8.
28.    Running with ReactOS (Ros DBG), ReactOS (Windlr) too provides same Results.
29.    Running With  ReactOS (RAM Disk) Shows me error of “Unable to locate System Partition” & “Failed to open system Drive”

Act 5

 

Act 5 Scene 1

 

Faustus end is approaching as he already given all his goods to Wagner. Wagner is puzzled. Wagner is a fun loving person as suggested in Act 1 Scene 2.

 

Faustus accompanied with Mephistopheles and three scalars. One of the scholars desires to see Helen (One of the most beautiful woman in world). Faustus full fills his scholar desire by summoning Helen by powerful magic words. The scholars are wonder stuck by seeing her beauty. They thank Faustus for his glorious event.

 

An old man rebukes Faustus for his sinful agreement with the devil.

 

Old man Suggestion

 

• He suggests Faustus to seek Christ kindness to wash away this guilt’s and appeal god for mercy.  Faustus feels scared as he is bound to go hell after the death.
• He gets a dragger from Mephistopheles but old man stops his to do suicide.
• He suggests him to despair his mind from Devil the angel hanging over his head will bless you a god grace and disappear considering over his sins.

 

Faustus fails to repent on old man suggestion because of his mental conflict.

 

Mephistopheles Action on suggestion

 

Mephistopheles calls him a conspirator against Lucifer and scared Faustus to tear him up.

Faustus begs for his offence and demands for renewal of bond by his blood.  He also suggests him to torture the old man soul.  However he cannot do so because old man has unflinching faith in god

Act 5 scene 2

 

The old man reappears again and criticizes Faustus for ignoring his suggestion of divine grace and to follow the path of necromancy. The devil appears and started giving physical torture to old man but his unflinching faith in god remains unshaken.

 

Act 5 Scene 3

 

Faustus feeling discomfort for committing of unpardonable sin and he ask his scholars to pray for him. The Scholars exit to next room.

 

Faustus appeal to nature

 

• He appeals the planet to halt the time so that he can repent to save his soul.
• He appeals stars and mountain to purify him so that he can enter the heaven.

 

Faustus appeal to God

 

• He thinks of God for mercy and asks to fix a limit of his damnation in the hell.  
• He thinks his body should be turned into air or water vapors which get lost in bosom of ocean.

 

Appearing of Devil

 

The devil appears with violent look Faustus cry in fear and devil takes him away.

 

Theme of the drama

 

A man should not practice things, which are not permitted by heaven.

The scene begins with the speech of chorus. Faustus returns from the long journey. His friends receive him with warm regards. Faustus shares his experience and moments with them.

 

Act 4 Scene 1

 

Mr. Robin who is an Ostler (stableman) by profession has stolen one of the Faustus’s magic books for an idea to spell some magic words; at the same time his assistant Ralph has called him for a customer in stable.

 

He draws a circle and warns Ralph to keep away from it. Ralph feels happy when Robin claims him to provide quantity of spiced wine.

Act 4 Scene 2

 

Robin and Ralph stole a wine cup from bar. The barman tracks them and demanded to return the cup. The barman searches both of them feel hopeless because of Robin Magic. Then Robin decided to punish barman for his presumption. He spells some magic words and called summons (authoritative call to attend or do something) Mephistopheles, all of them get scared by his appearance. Robin returns the cup to the barman. Ralph asks Mephistopheles for forgiveness and bothered him, but devil transform them in dog and ape.

 

Act 4 Scene 3

 

The scene starts from the emperor palace at Innsbruck. King desires to see the Faustus magic. Faustus proofs his skills by showing the soul of Alexander and his mistress. One of the emperor knights make laugh and put some jeering remarks about the Faustus this makes Faustus annoyed and he make a promise to deal with knight later.

 

Faustus command Mephistopheles to bring the soul of Alexander and his mistress. The king feels surprised to see them. The Faustus do some magic and make the pair of horns on knight head for his insolence. When knight seem the pairs of horns on his head he started abusing and asked Faustus to remove the horns. Faustus answered him you are suitably paid for your audacity. However Faustus removes the horns on the behalf of the king but he warns the king’s knight (attendant) not to do so in future. King awarded Faustus according to his promise.

Act 4 Scene 4

 

Faustus prepares him to return Wittenberg at the same time a horse dealer arrives to buy the horse of Faustus. Faustus warns him not to take horse near water in any condition. Horse dealer leave Faustus for happy living with the horse but he haven’t follow the precautions and rode horse into water. Horse disappeared in water however he manages to come out of the water and wants to recover money from Faustus. He visit Faustus palace, here devil informed him not to disturb Faustus in the Sleep.  

 

Horse dealer was in hurry to recover money from Faustus. So he shouts in the ears of Faustus and pulls his leg. As a result leg comes out in his hand. Faustus cries for loosing his leg and ask Mephistopheles to call police. Horse dealer feels scared and paid 40 dollars as a compensation for pulling out the Faustus leg. Horse dealer feel relief from the tight corner and flight instantly.

At the same time Faustus receive the message to display the magic at Duke Court.

 

Act 4 Scene 5

 

After receiving the message Faustus leave for Duke Court. Duke longingly waits for the magic display of Faustus. Their Faustus offers to obtain any fruit for which the duchess Vanholt has a desire.  Duchess asks Faustus to bring ripe grapes which are available in only summer season so Faustus commands Mephistopheles to bring the grapes, with in a moment he brought a bunch of grapes from the countries of the east. Duke expresses his surprise at the wonder and offers Faustus a kind reward.

Act 3

 

The scene starts with the speech of chorus. He started learning the secret of astronomy by studying heavenly bodies. He seats on chariot of dragon to trip all over the universe in eight days and studied Cosmography (origin of the Universe).

 

 Act 3 scene 1

 

He is visiting many places likes Naples, the golden Tomb of Virgil, the tunnel of Posilippo and cities of Venice etc.  He make the visit in Rome, there Mephistopheles describe the geography of the Rome city. He makes him self invisible and plays some magic tricks on Pope by snatching his dishes and drinks from his hands.
